The Context — The History
Ezra led a second wave of exiles from Babylon to Jerusalem in the Persian period. PersiaPersia is one of the 70 nations formed when YHVH scattered humanity at Babel and assigned each territory to a B’nai Elohim (a “Son of God”) as its spiritual administrator. Your page explains that these territorial beings became the gods of the nations when they rebelled and accepted worship instead of pointing people back to YHVH . Persia’s assigned ruler...
