What The Word Says About Depressed

Depression can make the world feel dim and heavy, but Scripture speaks directly into those shadows with truth, comfort, and hope. God does not overlook the hurting; He draws near to the brokenhearted and lifts those who feel crushed in spirit. These verses remind us that even in the darkest seasons, God’s presence is steady, His compassion is deep, and His promises shine brighter than any despair.

Romans 8:38-39

"For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Theme: God loves you so much and with such an intensity that nothing can separate you from that love. Depression can’t separate you from God. Sadness and heartache can’t cut you off from Him. Not even Satan can come between you and God. His love for you is stronger than anything in all of creation.
